Exceptional Cleanliness and Friendly Staff Enhance Stay

Monterey Bay Lodge impressed me with its immaculate rooms and attentive staff. The location is conveniently close to old Fisherman's Wharf, making it easy to explore.

The personnel is polite.

Every detail was nice, really enjoyable. The stuff that we encountered where super friendly and excellent. Had good sleep at the double room with fireplace. The hotel had a stunning and fantastic location close to the Monterey bay with plenty of walking paths including "Dennis the Menace Playground ".

This place suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a relaxing pool. On my first stay, the staff helped me find my way. They’re always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! I'm coming back for a city break.

Had good and stunning location to the piers. Further, it was not far from Monterey, local eateries and the restaurants and beach nearby.

We had such a rough time at this place. The WiFi was terrible, barely worked at all, and we had to constantly hang around the lobby just to load our maps. It ruined our plans for exploring the area.

The room was a good size, with comfortable beds that provided a solid night's sleep. Temperature control was easy to adjust, ensuring a cozy atmosphere. the decor felt dated, and the bathroom fixtures could use an update, as they showed some wear. The noise level was minimal, allowing for a peaceful stay. Subtle amenities, like quality toiletries and a microwave, added a touch of convenience. The ice machine and quality coffee were welcome perks. the room served its purpose well, though some improvements in decor would enhance the experience.

Impeccably clean hotel, comfortable beds, satisfactory breakfasts and best staff. Magnificent and decent location, close to beach. Brand-new romantic room with a decent size bathroom.

Just an appropriate option for a weekend jaunt in Monterey with high value for money. Nice heated pool.

Just a short stroll from the stunning beach and park, my stay was made even better by how easily I could access nearby attractions like Del Monte Beach and the famous Old Fisherman's Wharf, perfect for leisurely walks and soaking in the coastal vibes; the place had comfy rooms and great amenities like a heated pool and relaxing garden area, which made it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The coffee in the room wasn't perfect, but that didn't take away from my overall experience.

The location. Walking distance to promenade. Very comfortable beds.

Horrendous noise. For what this is - a motel - the price of $200+ a night was a rip-off. For half the price would be ok. But the noise is still unacceptble. Make sure you are very tired or drunk in the evening and you wouldn't mind.

Staff was quick to respond to issues, like the faulty hairdryer, which was reassuring. The room had its downsides—thin walls made for some noise, and we had a bit of a mildewy smell. Cleanliness was solid, but the comforter felt neglected. Location can't be beat, just a short drive to Cannery Row and right by the beach. It’s a good choice for a quick getaway, just be prepared for some idiosyncrasies.
